This vs That

This week we have two WMS Nike Outbreak Hi's which have been reintroduced to sneak life with some very vibrant colorways.

First up, we have the Outbreak in a Dark Pink/White-Bright Green/Spark Colorway

vs.

The Outbreak in Varsity Maze/Flint Grey-Orange Blaze

I think a clear difference between these two is that the first brings a more spring-oriented vibe, while the loud and exhuberant colors of the second sneak clearly show summertime.

I'm not really sold on either to be honest, but maybe they'll be better other colorways to come...

I'm super pumped that the Glow in the Dark Concert is less than a month away!!! Spring Must Haves: TEES!!!

Well hello there! I'm here with another spot of freshness to keep ur spring poppin! This time around I'm showcasing tees. I mean tees just about coordinate with anything, be it jeans and sneaks, or skirts and sandals, if you rock it just right, it'll look fierce!!! So I've picked out a few pieces from the spring collections of brands such as MaMa and Obey (both brands incorporate political expression in their products, tre cool), as well as Stussy and 10 Deep. Beedee's Daily Forecast

Today...*giant sigh* I feel....

Cloudy and a bit quesy....I didn't sleep well last nite AT ALL...and I feel short of breath when doing even small tasks....*elongated sighs*...not sure what has happened over night...some seem to think i'm developing allergies...I feel like my acute bronchitis is acting up...overall...I just wish things would get better *watering eyes*...

That, is all...pray for me!

Sneak of the Week: 4.21.08-4.27.08

So I took a couple days off and it seems like everything came out or was introduced during that time lol...I felt out of the loop for a brief moment...but now I'm back with another cooked up house speciality for the ladies!!!

This week I'm highlighting the Nike WMS Outbreak Hi Retro in a smoking hot pink, orange, and white color way!

This shoe screaaaaaams me! I'm such a sucker for pink, and these babies definitely deliver!

The Outbreaks are set for release in June. When they drop, you know I'll have the 411 on where to cop!

Dudes, Kicks, &`Fits: Glow in the Dark Tour Edition

In preparation for what is ultimately going to be the GREATEST CONCERT EVER, I'll be posting frequently all things related to the artists headlining the show, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Rihanna, and N.E.R.D, with special attention to Chi-town's finest! Lately I've been seeing things around the blogsphere showcasing custom items created by some of the world's most talented brands and designers for the artists. Two cool things I saw over at individual sole were a special glow in the dark leather bomber jacket crafted by Dr. Romanelli himself (you've seen those band-aid inspired converse's haven't you?) for Lupe Fiasco






The jacket appears to be one of a couple designs to be released during the tour

Also, I peeped this custom kix made by Nike for Kanye!

These kicks are being called "Air Yeezy" and also glow in the dark...hopefully they'll be released in time for the concert here in the chi cuz I would definitely cop (wishful thinking lol)

This vs. That (In for this week's Sneak of the Week)

Sorry, Folks! I really didn't wanna do a sneak of the week post but I couldn't leave ya hangin right?!? Instead, i've created a new category I like to call this versus that, where I take two items, be it shoes, apparel, accessories, etc., compare and contrast them, and get your opinion. First up, I'll be taking a look at two special edition Reebok freestyle Hi models (the imfamous 80s/90s sneaker which I pretty much love and reference in my "about me" section).

Both models are fierce in their own ways. I definitely like the subtly of the black, with the hints of pastel colors and robust gold side detailing. But the gold shoe just wows me! LoL One of my good friends (shouts out to MJP) is a sucker for gold anything, and when I saw these, I immediately thought of her! I really like how fresh and funky the gold joints are, really 70s disco-ish.

The verdict is pretty much in for me, I pick the gold ones... but to each her own ya kno!

Spring Must Haves-FITTEDS!!!!!!!

Here we are again with another must have for Spring 08!

Now, I'm a girl who loves to rock a nice fitted every once in a while. I feel as tho it gives my sneaks and `fit a lil extra pop! So i'm super excited to be seeing some really nice colorways and designs on fitteds this season...and I always...always...must must must...rock a 59fifty....NO EXCEPTIONS!!! lol

Sneak of the Week-4.7.08-4.13.08

Granted my "week" isn't always a full week...its whateva...I can't help putting up new hot ish when I finds out about it lol

This time around we have new Nike WOMENS (awwwwwww yeah son!) Air Force One Quickstrikes which come in three crazy unique colors - lime, chili, and purple!

What's crazy about these are that thee entire shoe is one solid color-and following in the footprints of Reebok's 25th Anniversay Reign-bow freestyles which I am very accustomed too-these joints will definitely spark mad interest for the ladies. No info yet as to when these joints will release in the US, but they have already dropped overseas. I, personally, gotta have the lime joints in a size 6 pronto!

Sneak of the Week: 4.1.08-4.6.08

CHA Son!!! I'm back again this week hittin you up wit sumthin real proppa like (u feelin my 90's slang on that one aint chu? lol) This week I am highlighting a brand that I haven't been giving as much shine too as I should be...call me selective I guess...I find myself being extra choosey when it comes to this brand...although they have dropped classics for decades...


BUT this time I'm mos def diggin one of the Nike Air Jordan releases to drop next week...and that one is...

The Air Jordan XV Retro SE Black/Metallic Silver/Varsity Red/White

Sooo...these are an update of the old XV and as far as the original...some folks dug it while others thought it stunk...personally I like this version and could see myself rockin a pair.

To hit stores like Niketown and such on the 12...but urban accounts a couple days earlier...these bad boys are definitely hot..I don't know...Jordans in black red and white are always wangin'! Pics via sneakermestupid.
