*Brand newbie* The Jordan Brand has really been keeping the colorways coming on the classic 1s. A fresh cracked metallic silver and white mix is the latest colorway. Most notable on this sneak are the silver clear sole and turquoise, black, and white tongue. Very dope. These are a GS release so ladies this one is definitely for us! Available now at Finishline.

Kicks: Nike WMS Spring 09 Preview

I AM PATIENTLY AWAITING SPRING 09 LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE.

I had the great opportunity to check these (in print, not actual models) and a few other joints out over the weekend and I must say Nike may silence the heavy criticism they have been receiving based on wack womens releases. I love each and every kick in the snapshot and have a bunch of other favorites I can't wait to cop. Price range is decent ($78-$105) and the colorways are SICK. Of course, I'll have purchase info as time progresses.

YSK: Nike WMS Air Force One Octagon

Here we have a new colorway for what seems to be becoming an Air Force 1 Beijing Olympics pack. The fresh volt yellow and purple colorway on this sneak bring a definite summer vibe, while the octagon designs on the side panel tie in the Olympic theme.
Slated for release July 19th, Im sure some accounts in the Chi (Dianas in Wicker Park) will have them before then.

iDig: Strawberry Kiwi Artic Rush

So i just had a wtf moment. I decided to 'treat' myself to a lil frozen beverage so i headed to the Dairy Queen in the Thompson Center. I knew i wanted something fruit flavored, but they had like SEVEN choices...just makin it hard for a sista ya know? But I ended up getting the strawberry kiwi joint...not sure if it would be too much strawberry or kiwi...or maybe it would taste like toffee i mean you dont know these things aheada time. But i got it anyway, took the first sip, and now im like 'wtf'? WHY DO YOU TASTE SO GOOD?!?! Why did you shock my life like that?!? Is that how you feel Dairy Queen? You think thats cool huh???

I guess so...

I dont think there are enough words to describe how much i truly love Chicago. There are so many beautiful people and places here, the atmosphere is astounding. Today I took some time to take in a few of my favorite scenes and just Be.

I dont know about you, but I love my city.

Sneak of the Week: 7.7.08 - 7.11.08

Peep these new Women's All Court's from Nike which my bff, SP, has dubbed "the old lady who can't see but puts up curtains" kicks. Despite her title, we really like the kicks because they are very eccentric and since I seem to be rackin up a bunch of metallic gold sneaks, I assume these fit the bill perfectly.

There is a Hello Kitty Black Wonder exhibition (cheezy face!) slated for July 17th in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong (sad face). The Black Wonder exhibition is centered around the theme of Kuromi's castle, and inspired by the story of the kidnapping of HK and Daniel and their adventures encountered while trying to find their way home. HOW STOKED WOULD I BE TO GO TO THAT?!?!?!

You Should Know: STBG x Lazy x Nike Dunk Hi "Paramount Redux"

You may recall the post about the Nike Dunk Paramount Lo which was released in late June exclusively through the Royal Fam website. Wellz, apparently due to technical difficulties, the number of orders placed exceeded the number of sneaks actually available. So now Royalefam.com will be releasing the STBG x Lazy Nike Dunk Hi "Paramount Redux" for all those folks who tried to order the dunk lo. The "Redux" sports the same "Gucci" inspired colorway as the Dunk Lo but comes equipped with a zipper style tongue and may also come with a red side panel instead of the original olive green panel color.

The Royalefam...fam, are also releasing a limited edition "Paramount" tee featuring the same colorway as the Redux and Dunk Lo. Pre-orders are in effect until July 30th.
