`Fits: Married to the Mob Summer 2009 Collection

Here's a peek into the Summer 09 Lookbook from the MTTM camp. The collection will feature an assortment of tees, bottoms, accessories, and beachwear - including bikinis, head scarfs and cover-ups. It appears that this season's line up is centered around the less than legal "holiday" of 4:20 (which I'm sure most of you are at least somewhat familiar with). Although I can kinda see where Leah was going, the collection still seems a wee bit late and uninspired. Collabos: Converse x Woolrich - Plaid Chuck Taylors

Check out the latest team-up between Converse and U.S. based woolen mill company, Woolrich. The two brands linked together to make a great looking set of Chuck Taylors - one high model sporting a red plaid wool upper and a low model featuring a royal blue plaid upper. I dig mucho!

Finally, a release worth going ape sh*t over! As I peruse my favorite sites every morning, I check for anything eye-popping and engaging. It's rare that I come across something that makes me literally gasp, but today my mouth flew open at the image in front of me! Above you'll see images of a White and Varsity Red Air Jordan 1 retro model featuring a high ankle cut. SON, I WAS LIKE NO WAY YO IT'S GS!!! That's right, this is a grade school size release. What's New: Air Jordan GS Urban Safari Pack - True Flight and Retro 1

So today we take a look at two sneaks featured in the upcoming "Urban Safari Pack" from Jordan Brand. The Pack will include the Air Jordan 1 model and the True Flight. The former will feature a light birch leather upper with marbled black on the toe box and side panels. Melon-colored laces, outsole, and sockliner complete the piece. The True Flight model will feature a predominantly white leather upper with orange and black accents along the sole and tongue areas. You can check out the links below to purchase.

YSK: Air Jordan DMP II - Toro Bravo Package To Release Tomorrow May 23rd

I'm sure by now you've heard all the news surrounding the Air Jordan V Package (originally referred to as the DMP II, later known as the Raging Bull Package, and now as Toro Bravo).  Back in October, we had a little information to go on - all that we were sure of was that there would be two V (5) models in the package sporting the bulls colorway dropping in May.  Well, the time has come and tomorrow marks the official release of the Toro Bravo V's Package.  Of course, I'm a tad bit salty they're not dropping GS, nonetheless I can't front, both fives are very dope.  The black V sports a 3M upper with red accents while the second V comes in red suede with black accents.  Both feature the signature ice sole we love to see on this model and will come double boxed - the outer looking like a wooden box with inner boxes holding the two sneaks. HOTNESS!  Be sure to pick up your pack at select Air Jordan retailers - as this is a limited release - GET YA ASS UP EARLY!

Kicks: Nike Vandal High GS - "Hologram"

A little while ago we gave you a look at a GS Nike Blazer to release featuring a holographic swoosh. Wellz, in true "pack" fashion, a Nike GS Vandal High has hit the web with what seems to be a holographic strap and swoosh, along with a white leather uppper with pink accents. The sockliner is lime green and the laces feature the same melon color seen on the "Hologram" Blazers. Super Futuristic, don't ya think? If you are feeling these, be sure to hit up your nearest Nike retailer, as they are available now.

The Return: LA Gear LE Stardust Model @ Sportie LA

It seems as if 2009 is the year of the comeback. We recently posted some news about the retroing of an exclusive Air Jordan 12 CW, and now we jump ship to bring you news from another nostylgic brand. LA Gear gained peak popularity in the 90s for its dynamic look but soon fizzled out and just about vanished into thin sneaker air. This year the brand is back for the ladies with a new very limited Stardust model collection to be sold exclusively at Sportie LA. The collection will feature five new colorways and be held to 89 pairs in total - signifying the year of release for the model (1989). Get ready to welcome LA Gear back to the game on May 12th, the date of the official drop in store and online at Sportie LA.

The Return: Air Jordan XII (12) Nubuck Available Online Now

As news broke rapidly on the web about a slew of retroes dropping this year, us small footed JB fans waited anxiously to see what was on the horizon. Coming up first will be the return of a very exclusive Air Jordan 12 CW only previously released on Jumpman23.com back in 2003. Of course, these were not available for tiny tots and those with petite feet then, but now we will surely get our chance to rock. The "Nubuck" AJ12 features a black, white, and university blue color scheme with an upper made of soft, buffed leather or "nubuck." Sneakerheads young and old are looking forward to this release which is set to drop officially on May 30th, but if you can't wait til then, Sneakerhead already has em up. Summer in the Chi means sunny days, warm nights, and fierce attire. With that said, it's only right that I share this magnificent find with my fellow sneakherfiends and accessory queens. Small Foot Syndrome (SFS): Nike GS Dunk Low - Light Melon/Citron - Bright Peach - Vivid Pink

New on the scene are these bright babes.  Varying shades of pink occupy a majority of the patent leather upper, with citron green accents on the outsole, swoosh, and back tab.  Melon-y(?) orange is seen on the toe box.  What a festive little pair of kicks! Sneak of the Week: Nike WMS Dunk High - Bright Peach/Black - White

WOW, it's rare (well, not really for me anyway) that two uncommonly matched colors appease my sneaker senses.  This week's Sneak of the Week most certainly delivers.  Bright peach *synthetic* leather can be seen on the toe box and back accent, with peach colored mesh on the side panels.  Shiny black leather catches the light just right on the swoosh and surrounding toe panel while white laces and midsole brighten this masterpiece.  Yeah, it's like that.  For all the ladies who like to keep it simple and sexy, these are available now at my new fav midwestern boutique, Got Sole?

What's New: Nike WMS Blazer High - Bamboo Weave

One of the greatest summer accessories for fabulous femmes is the straw bag - it is ALWAYS in style.  What better way to rock it this year than with the new Bamboo Weave Blazer Highs from the Nike Camp.  The kicks sport a straw-like texture on the side panels, while the flat green laces and toe cap add even more of an earthy feel.  Very chic! You Should Know - Nike GS Dunk High Optimus Prime - Transformers 2 Pack

Back in October, we told you about the Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen GS sneaker pack that was scheduled for release Summer 2009. The first sneaker from the three pack is the Dunk High you see above. The "Optimus Prime" dunks are inspired by the super ill and all around good Autobot of the same name.   They feature blue side panels and toe box with red flame accents, while the rest of the upper sports silver accents. Hello Kitty x Asics Gel Lyte III Pack

What happens when Sanrio and Asics mash up to create a sneaker collabo for HK stans, apparently the two kicks above happen. The Gel Lyte III model was used for this pack of Hello Kitty inspired sneaks - one in a red and white colorway, while the other sports black and gold. Small images of the fantastic feline are seen throughout both pairs of kicks. The red/white colorway will be available at Sanrio stores and online in September, while the black/gold joints will only be at the Sanrio Luxe store in New York. If you are digging these, be sure to save up the doski woski for them - retail will be at $145!

Kicks: Nike WMS Spray Paint Pack - Court Force/Vandal Low/Air Digs

Whoot Whoot! What is sure to top out as one of the illest packs for the ladies, the Spray Paint Pack will feature an air brushed looked of paint on three models - the Air Dig in lime, 2 Court Force Highs in Yellow and Turquoise, and the Vandal Low in Royal Blue. Peek-A-Boo: Nike WMS Dunk High - White/Purple - Metallic Platinum/Mint Summer 2009

Are you seeing the dopeness above that I am seeing??? I hope so, because these kicks are straight CRAZY and remind me of a certain nike SB dunk *cough dino jr cough*. The colorway is truly sick - metallic platinum leather on the accents, while white heel, toe box and side panels tote an iridescent sheen. Lavender laces and a pastel swoosh even the shoe out, but let's not forget about the mint sock liner! INCREDIBLE TOUCHES OF COLOR!

iDig: Nike WMS Air Max 90 - Neon Turquoise/White

The fresh AM90s just keep on coming for the ladies in 09! What has become this spring's trend on many 90 models is the use of bright colors and patent leather, and this particular sneaker follows suit. Neon turquoise patent leather is noted on the mudguard and overlay, while mesh is seen on the toe box. A white swoosh, outsole, heel tab and lining are also featured and give these a clean feel.
