Could it Be GS? The Return of the Nike Air Diamond Turf OG colorway
Growing up, I was never really into outwardly athletic looking sneakers. I was, however, aware of the many guys who loved models such as the one above, and with the re-retro of the Nike Air Diamond Turf scheduled for release in June, lots of heads are extremely happy to get that old thing back. The Diamond Turf became synonymous with excellence in multi-sports - being that it was the first signature shoe from famed football and baseball athlete Deion Sanders. As big Beedee, these are most certainly appealing to the eye, and seeing as though I am can never resist a strong black, red and white color combo, I hope the Swoosh keeps that nostalgic feeling going for the entire family and release these as GS too. I do not feel like looking for a barely wearable OG pair! More pics after the jump and more info to come soon. via FLUL

Crayola x Vans Authentic - "Crayola Pack" Fall 2010
Although its been years since little beedee was in Elementary School, I still love to see school-inspired sneakers. Vans is the latest brand to follow this trend, partnering with Crayola to produce a simple yet snazzy collection of Vans Authentics for Kids. The pack will include a number of Authentics sporting a "drawn on" colorful Crayola effect. Solids, prints, and two-toned pairs will drop this Fall - right in time for the new school year. As a means of not looking too child-like, I'll stick to the red, blue, and purple pairs <3. More info on dates of availability to come. Pics after the jump. via High Snobiety.

Air Jordan Retro VI (6) "Lakers" - GS Sizes Available for Pre-Sale @ Citysole
*drools*
Oooo, excuse me. The above pictured "Laker" inspired Air Jordan Retro 6 comes in one of the iller new colorways to drop this year. I am loving the 3M accented black upper underlined by nubuck (or perhaps suede?). Typically, I go against any and all shoes sporting contrast stitching, but these, these babies right here, man they broke all the rules with fly two-toned stitching - purple and yellow of course. The due date on these is May 15, 2010, but Citysole has GS sizes up for pre-sale to be shipped out on May 8th. Sweet. Don't sleep on these - order them now or hit your favorite Jordan Brand retailer on release day.

YSK: Air Jordan Anniversary XI (11) GS - Now Available @ Sneakerhead
Jordanheads first got a glimpse of an all-white series of Jordans back in September with the "History of Flight" interactive timeline, of which I did a post on. At the time, none of us were really sure the collection would see the light of day. As time passed, more and more info began to leak and it became official near the end of 2009 that an all-white series of jays would drop the following year to commemorate Jordan Brand's 25th Anniversary. Finishline.com: Air Jordan Retro II (2) GS - White/Varsity Red - Black Available Now
You may recall a little (but actually rather large) post I did a while back that covered most, if not all, expected JB retro's to drop this year. The Air Jordan II Retro (2) "Chicago" was initially expected to drop on May 1st but the Anniversary XIs are scheduled for that release that day so of course, there could be no overshadowing that (*side-eye* x *screwface*). The new date for the AJII drop is May 22nd, however, it looks as though Finishline decided to put their stock of GS 2s online over the weekend - with some sizes already being sold out, including mine :( Anyhoo, if you wear a 4, 5, 5.5, 6, or 7, you are still in luck! Click the link below to be taken directly to the site.

YSK: Nike GS Air Force 1 - "Iron Man"???
*EDIT: these are GS sizes only :)
Update available now online at Eastbay
While frequenting one of the many sneaker shops near the crib, I came across this fan-tabulous pair of Air Force Ones. The first store I spotted them in had them tucked away in a display case, so I really couldn't gauk at em like I wanted. I had more luck at the second spot. I "marveled" over the magnificent dark red and gold patent panels, and thought the color scheme looked awfully familiar. Hmm, could this be a Iron Man 2 inspired AF1? Me thinks so. With that said, you should know that these are a GS release and the retail price should be around 80 bucks. Head over to your Eastbay now to purchase.

What's New @ Finishline.com: Nike Air Max 95 GS - Neutral Grey/Total Orange - Cool Grey
Another great AM95 colorway has re-released for the kiddies this go-round. Total orange highlights this runner classic - along with the traditional varying hues of grey. I initially wanted to purchase these in store, but the Finishline around the way didn't have em in stock, so they were nice enough to order them for me online and they should arrive within a few days, yippie!!! If you would like to purchase a pair, hit the link to be directed over to Finishline right naooo!

Things I Need:
:cries:
Air Jordan XIII (13) Low - Navy/Metallic Silver - Black - Carolina Blue
I think in the past two years I've only seen these up for sale in my size once. I didn't have the cash at the time so I had to sit back and watch as someone else bid and copped MY sneakers =/ Since 98, this particular pair of AJ13s lows (which have not retro'd, yet) has been one of thee rarest finds, esp. in GS sizes. I'm hoping that some dude or dudette out there reads this post, looks over into their sneaker dungeon as spots a 4.5Y, thinks of me and hits me up with an email like "Hey, I got those for sale." Ah, my sneaker life would be so wonderful!!! A girl can dream, right?

Reebok WMS Freestyle Hi - Pixel Pack
Two new colorways have blessed the classic Reebok Freestyle Hi model. Coming in white and black - each shoe features a clear outsole which covers both the heel and toe guards, while the midsole of each sports a pixelated effect. Pretty neat! Both pairs are available from online sneaker retailer RMKstore now.
Air Jordan Spiz'ike Girls - White/Violet Pop-Neutral Grey -Medium Grey
TSG posted a twitpic from Young Money's Nicki Minaj which featured a yet released Air Jordan Girls Spiz'ike colorway. After doing some research on ISS, I'm guessing the purple accented pair is the White/Violet Pop/Neutral Grey Spiz'ike listed as a May 2010 release. From the snapshot alone, I am not sold, but perhaps my mind will change once detailed pics become available. Stick with sneakherbox.com for further info.
Nike Air Attack Pack: Small Sizes Available!
Summer 2010 - Nike Air Max 95 - "Grape"
After the Neon AM95 release, Nike's approval ratings were steadily rising amongst Air Max fiends. This summer, the Swoosh plans to keep their status high by bringing us another dope yet familiar colorway for the 95 model. Grey/Charcoal and Purple come together to produce a "Grape" inspired combo which looks quite amazing on this runner. I have no doubt that this will be a full family release when it drops at Footlocker stores in June, but stay close to sneakherbox.com for updates. More pics after the jump.

What's New @ NDC: Nike WMS Air Force 1 '07 Black/Blue Sapphire - White
*jeezy voice*
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Me loves Forces, always have, always will. I'm happy to see the Swoosh continue snappin on colorways for the ladies - this one is a surefire winner. Black and Blue Sapphire team up in the form of smooth and patent leathers - a very nice contrast that would be a great alternative to rocking your Space Jams, as I am sure most of you are planning to wait til summer hits to rock them. I know I am lol. Retail on these is only 82 bucks so not a bad price for a stellar pair of kicks. Hit the link below for purchase.

You Should Know: Jordan Brand April 2010 Releases
This Saturday, April 17th, JB will be releasing two new Air Jordan VI (6) Retros - Pistons & Rainbow (gs only). The feedback on both has been primarily negative (at least from what i've heard) with most not warming up to the idea of mixing patent leather and suede on the Pistons 6s and the rainbow brite-esque look of the Girls 6s rubbing some folks the wrong way. The latter color combination I can accept because they were designed and marketed for little girls, and as I said in an earlier post, no grown ass woman should be rocking these but, eh, do you ya know? Anyhoo, for those interested, both will be in stores at Jordan retailers this saturday although some online boutiques such as Uptempoair have already received their shipments. If you'd like to cop "early", check the links below for purchasing.
Where to Buy:
Air Jordan VI (6) GS - White/Varsity Red - True Blue - Light Graphite

Things I Need:
FUHKING LANEY VS!!!!!!
When these dropped in 2000 I was clearly not on my Jordan shit, my tunnel vision was fixated on Air Forces, which is cool but now I am so heated that I don't own these. As most sneaker peeps know, these are very hard to come by (unless you're @HighUpAbove) and esp. so for small footers. So, today, I'm asking you readers out there to do me a solid and HELP ME FIND SOME DAMN LANEYS!!! Size 4.5Y pwease - preferably DS (yeah I know, but I saw a 4Y DS not too long ago so its out there). I got the guap just can't find the shoes!
Thanks a million - BD
Nike WMS Skinny Dunk High - Black/Speed Yellow - White
What is it, inside out week at Nike? Last week I posted a women's Dunk High featuring the same color scheme but with different color placement - the black ripstop which was limited to the side panels and toebox on the other shoe takes center or upper stage on this Skinny dunk. Speed Yellow is highlighted on the swoosh and the outsole (which just happens to be clear). Me thinks these kicks and a dope MTTM tee I saw on the 'Loop recently will compliment each other well on a casual day. More pics after the jump.

Cleveland's Got Sole 2010 - Event Recap
Over the weekend, my crew and I headed to Cleveland for the 2nd Annual Cleveland's Got Sole Sneaker Showcase. An event of this caliber is sure to bring out a large crowd, and it most certainly did, with vendors, sponsors, collectors, and sneaker enthusiasts alike coming from all parts of the Midwest and even the East Coast to celebrate the culture. Don't get it twisted though, this event -slash- fundraiser helped benefit the Lebron James Foundation - with all proceeds being donated to the charity. I have been to many sneaker showcases in the past, but the atmosphere at CGS was totally different from any other I've attended. Nearly every one present was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable of the product around them. It was awesome to speak with like-minded individuals, whom you could truly say loved this life. As you can imagine, the amount of sneaker crack in the building prompted many oohs, ahs, and yos from the attendees. And since we were in Lebron-land, there were MAD LB collectors present. I've never seen so many different models in one place! SBs and Jordans were also represented well, with a CRAZY amount of PEs on deck. There were also some dope streetwear brands in the spot, including a new women's streetwear line called "Petty Betty" and when I tell you I loved their gear, I mean really LOVED it. While there I was also able to meet a lot of peeps from Sneakerplay and OSD (Obsessive Sneaker Disorder) whom I had heard of/spoken to online on occasion - it was nice to finally put a face to a name. I'd like to personally thank Kevin and Andrew for putting together another amazing event, the level of integrity and respect for the game these guys have is incredible. Because of their efforts, over 5,000 dollars will be donated to The Lebron James Foundation. To say I had a fantastic time is an understatement, the joint was SLAMMIN but you would have had to really be there to understand. I am looking forward to next year's event! Well, enough of my babbling, check out a GANG of pics after the jump :)

Cleveland's Got Sole II - April 10, 2010 Cleveland, Ohio
I will be in the building this Saturday on behalf of sneakherbox.com to cover the CGS event. If you are in the area, be sure to come through to the city's second annual sneaker event highlighting some sick sneaker collections from heads across the country. There's going to be an ill raffle with a very exclusive prize giveaway - you definitely don't wanna miss it. Hope to see you there!

Nike Dunk High GS - "Ripples" White/Obsidian-Marina Blue
I absolutely WUV the above-pictured GS Dunk High. This brightly painted sneaker is sure to bring a feeling of happiness to small footed femmes and young chul'ren all around. Multi-colored circles "ripple" along the side panels creating an awesome color illusion. Just looking at them brings a smile to my face! The warm colors of pink and volt yellow mixed with the coolness of the marina and obsidian blues make me think of summer - and these are guaranteed to be a hit! Although no official release date is known at this time, they are available for pre-order at online HK sneaker retailer Kix-Files.
Sneaker Must-Haves: Nike WMS Dunk High - Black/Speed Yellow - Cool Mint
Although I think a lace-swap is definitely in order, I love this newest dunk high release for women. The colorway isn't new, we've seen the yellow and black combo down a few times before but this time its been updated with a few subtle touches. For one, where we would typically see either smooth leather or mesh, the toebox, ankle, and side panels are sport a plaid design (that kind of looks like rip-stop to me, but I'm not sure). Also, bright speed yellow is used this go round versus the traditional varsity maize (a richer, darker shade of yellow). I think these changes took this old favorite to the next level, me likey :) Available now at SNS.

Sneak of the Week: Nike WMS Air Max 90 - White/Metallic Silver - Blue Sapphire
Well damn!
Nike just kicked in Spring's door with an ILL women's Air Max 90 colorway. Brilliant blue sapphire covers most of this pair's upper, while white accents the outsole, laces, and toebox. A metallic silver check completes the look making this an ultimate must-have. I am very pleased with this pair! If you are too, be sure to hit up Finishline. More pics after the jump.
SBeezies: Nike Skateboarding April 2010 Releases
After the hoopla over last month's crazy-colored "Cosby" SB Dunk High, its nice to see some modesty in this month's package. Black, Grey and Navy seem to be the go to colors (as usual) for the brand, showing up on a dunk low and two blazer mids. There is, however, some electric color noted on the Pacific Blue Janoski, which, iDig. Check out all of this month's selections after the jump, available now at Uprise.

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 - GS Colorways
Lebron isn't the only NBA player including the tiny tots in their footwear lines. The Nike Zoom Kobe 5 is the latest basketball shoe to come in small foot sizes - mixing great aesthetics with superior technology. Whether you're an athlete or plain ol sneaker-copper, a pair of these should make their way into your closet pronto-saurus. Click the links below for purchase info.
Nike Zoom Kobe 5 - Black/Del Sol - Varsity Purple
Nike Zoom Kobe 5 - White/Del Sol - Neutral Grey - Varisty Purple
Nike Zoom Kobe 5 - White/Varsity Red - Black
Nike WMS Air Force 1 High - Blue Sapphire/Volt - White
Volt is a color making its rounds this season on the women's footwear scene. Most often, its used in small does on a sneaker (thank God we haven't seen any all volt colored kicks). Here it plays co-star to the lead player - blue sapphire. The vivid color is used as differing types of leather - smooth and patent - throughout the upper. This pair is SURE to break some necks come summertime, so get yours now at Sneakerhead.
Nike WMS Air Max 90 - White/Cool Mint
Here's a very simple AM90 colors I'm sure some ladies will enjoy. A basic white leather upper with ripstop (not a fan of this material btw, mesh FTW) on the ankle and toebox is livened up by bright cool mint green accents. Me likey. These babies are available online now at Purchaze. Another shot after the jump.
