What's your passion? Such is a question we may all ask ourselves at some point in our lives. The answer may even be suprising. This can certainly be said for Amanda Yoakum, 25, of Yoakustoms. She's had a "love affair" with art since a young age but recently tried her talents in the realm of "kustom" kicks. Her exceptional ability to transform an abstract mental impression into an elaborate design has lead her into the world of sneaker customization. "I never expected to be where I am now", she states, and clearly her new niche in sneaker painting is giving her the basis needed to be catipulted into the league of extraordinary artists.

It's evident that Amanda has been motivated by the world around her, so much so that a mere stroll through the grocery store could turn into the beginnings of a sneaker masterpiece. "I can find myself inspired by not only images, but smells, sounds, color, etc." This impeccable ability to use all senses to formulate works of art definitely sets Amanda's skill level high. Now with a prospering business under her belt, Amanda ultimately hopes to build an empire with YoaKustoms in the years to come. "Doing what you love will lead you until the end."
