YSK: Air Jordan XI Retro "Cool Grey" GS Preview
Looky here! Earlier this year I did a post covering most, if not all, of the upcoming Jordan Brand releases for the year. When the post was created, the re-release of the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” colorway was teeter-tottering between speculation and actual confirmation. One thing I definitely knew was that they would be available in GS sizes, and I was correct! The lovely pair you see above is actually a shot of a GS pair, which for the most part, resembles its 2001 counterpart, EXCEPT FOR THAT ICY BLUE SOLE!!! Wooohoooohoooo!!! The 2010 upgrade looks magnificent and seems to be a trend this year for GS XIs (see Anniversary 11s). Me thinks the Big Foot Bastards (or BFBs) will be pretty mad if they get snubbed AGAIN and receive a mere clear sole. MUHAHAHAHAHA! Sucks to be you guise*! Anyhoo, these babies are set for Christmas Mania aka December 23rd, so get ya monies up now, you got time!
*update: photos of the Men's CG11s have hit the web and also sport an iced out, blue sole. Hooray!

Air Jordan II Retro Girls - Lavender/Deep Purple - Del Sol
Yesterday, news of a brand new Air Jordan II Retro for girls dropped and initially put me in a frenzy. It is rare that any Air Jordan secretly pops up with little to no info prior to its release, so this surprise pair was really kept underwraps. As you can see above, lavender-colored nubuck surrounds the entire upper of this retro, while a deep purple underlay subtly creeps along the sides of the shoe in traditional AJ II form, as well as gives color to the shoe’s sockliner. A shimmery, muted grey can be seen on the laces and midsole. From first look, I’m not completely sold on them (I think I’ll have to see them in person) but I WILL say that I am extremely happy to a more sophisticated look to Jordan Brand’s GS kicks. I guess my wish for BIN23 style GS keeps is coming true! As of right now, no official release date is known, but be sure to stick with sneakHerbox.com as I am sure to bring you the word as soon as I receive it!
SBeezies: August 2010 Nike SB releases
In terms of unbelievable-ness (not a word, but roll with it), the Nike SB line has been pretty quiet this year. There has yet to be a cataclysmic release like last year’s Blue Lobster Dunk Low although some of you were in a bit of a tizzy over the Skunk SB Dunks -___-. I will, however, say, there have been some rather awesome releases and a smaller scale. This month we’ll see two very unique collaborations with the SB line, one with Civil skate shop of Rhode Island and another with Poets of New York. The Nike SB Dunk High “Civil” features a mix of neutral grey and creme tones while the SB Blazer High x Poets (seen above) dons a deep perforated obsidian blue upper. I digs! A tiffany-esque Janoski makes its way into skate shops this month along with a strap-less black Dunk Mid. Check out these kicks and the rest of August’s package after the jump.

Nike WMS Air Force 1 High – White/Glass Blue
There is something about simple colorways that really takes me back to my earlier sneaker years. Before footwear brands did WHATEVER to grab the consumers attention, the days when less indeed was more, and we enjoyed that sensibility. Sometimes I think that era is long gone, and then I come across a pair like the one you see above, and I immediately feel nostalgic. The Air Force 1 High model has gotten a lot of play this year for the ladies, and this model really solidifies that fresh, clean, summer feeling. A white leather upper meets up with an uncommonly seen fabric used on AF1s – mesh! The toe box and side panels are laced in it, while the swoosh, heel tab, and outsole all sport a cool glass blue color. Schweet. I am totally digging this pair, and I’m sure you are too, so click the link below to be taken directly to NDC for purchasing.

Nike WMS Big Nike High "Revolutionary Rockas" - Black/Varsity Red – White
The Bred colorway popularized by Jordan Brand is a winner on pretty much any model, as proven on the above pictured Nike Women’s Big Nike High. The touch of patent leather adds a sneaker sophisticated touch to this pair, as does the lovely red satin inner sock lining. There also seem to be some kind of theme behind these kicks. If you look closely at the tongue tag (and given the shot, you can’t really get a great look), you’ll see something that looks to say “Rockas” with another word atop that isn’t as legible. Hmm, hopefully I’ll receive word on what that theme actually is soon :) Anyhoo, these are available now at street and footwear retailer DrJays.
*edit: The tongue tag says "Revolutionary Rockas" - could these be part of an upcoming pack???? We shall soon see :)

Air Jordan Retro II (2) QF - University Blue/Black - Available for Pre-Order @ Citysole
These are delightful! Totally wasn't expecting the latest Air Jordan QF IIs to drop GS, but thank my lucky stars they are! Sporting a University Blue leather upper with black piping and midsole – ah these are surefire winners in my book. As if the colors alone weren't enough to seal the deal, the outsole, oh yeah, ITS CLEAR! *chestbump* Whew, okay, let me gather myself lol. This post is really to let you know that despite the official release date being July 31, online sneaker shop Citysole already has em available for pre-order, set to ship out by July 26th. So get your click on and order yours NAO!
Air Jordan 6 Rings GS - Black/Vibrant Yellow/Varsity Purple - Orion Blue
One of the less-hated Fusion models gets snazzy with an "Aqua" inspired colorway. The Air Jordan Six Rings combines models MJ himself rocked during each championship run. Because of its neatly executed design, it has gained as much appreciation as it has displeasure. The above pictured model, however, is quite pleasing! Black patent leather and mesh, two materials we typically see used on Six Rings, cover the upper, while accents of purple, orion blue, and vibrant yellow dance along the shoe's tongue, heel, and outsole. These are pretty ill, no lie. I have no doubt that they'll be successful in the GS and small footed ladies market. If you are feeling these too, be sure to head over to PYS to order your pair now. More pics after the jumpster.

Air Jordan I (1) Retro GS - Black/Orion Blue - Varsity Purple
One word to describe the above pictured sneaks --> AWESOME! Typically I'm not a fan of contrast stitching on kicks, ESPECIALLY kicks with a black nubuck upper but these look pretty dope. Orion blue stitching outlines the entire upper, while hints of varsity purple can be seen on the signature Air Jordan Wings on the upper ankle and tongue tag. This pair is available in GS sizes at Finishline.com now =)

What's New @ SNS: Nike WMS Air Max 90 Colorways
Two new Women’s Air Max 90 colorways have hit the online “shelves” at Swedish based shop Sneakers N Stuff. Both share the same color placement of black and white – but one is accented with Sport Red while the other keeps it light with Neutral Grey. These basic colorway are enhanced with premium leather and soft mesh. I definitely digs. If you are too, be sure to hit the link after the jump to purchase these babies.
You Should Know: Nike Air Max 90 GS - Infrared Now Available
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
You may recall a "Could It Be GS?" post I did awhile back about these, and at the time I wasn't too sure they'd be available full family, nor did I think they'd be out before Fall. Well, Summer's here and the SFS gods have blessed us once again as Kids Footlocker already has a full GS size run available – you KNOW I copped!!! Upon checking the site, I noticed they only had one size (4Y) available, so apparently I’m not the only one who was aware of this lol BUT do not fear, Eastbay has a few more sizes available so head over there NAO! Retail on these is $74.99 so they are nice and easy on the pocketbook. Hit the jump for a direct purchase link as well as a few more flicks.*note: the official release date for mens sizes is July 24th.
