Back in
January, Jordan Brand pulled a whammy on the big footed fellas by dropping the Air Jordan 1 Phat High in the iconic Black and Gold retro colorway, but as a GS only exclusive. What you see above is a AJ1 Phat of the 2001 Japan-only Navy/White Cdub that is favored by many Jordanheads. A few tweaks have been made, with the Jordan "Wings" being
stamped sewn on in white versus super-imposed in gold as on its predecessor. The trim on the tongue is white here versus blue on the original colorway, the Jumpman tongue logo colors being changed, and the swoosh here is white instead of silver. Nevertheless, this is sure to be a huge hit for the Summer, but it may only be huge for the those who wear size 8 through what, 15. No news is available as of yet as to whether these will drop as a full family release, it could possibly be some kind of sick revenge for the Black & Gold Phat 1s, only time will tell. ReplyDeletei actually made a mistake, they're sewn on with white stitching but, still yes a very nice shoe. I hope it does retro in GS sizes :)
