You Should Know: Kidrobot Store in Wicker Park Oct. 4!!!

That's right!!! The rumors are true!!! A new Kidrobot pop-store will be unveiled at 1573 N. Milwaukee (down the street from St. Al's) next Saturday. The store will feature dope toys, accessories, and apparel - like those featured on the kidrobot website. Open from Oct 4 til December, Chicagoans will have plenty of time to get all the fabulous items Kidrobot has to offer.

Kicks: Nike WMNS Vandal Hi Quickstrike

Two brand new Vandal Highs drop today at Nike Quickstrike Accounts across the nation. Both kicks feature an upper made entirely of patent leather and are available in two colorways - purple/gold/black and black/turquoise. I've been on the fence about Vandals as of late, but these could potentially make a lot of noise for the ladies! Kicks: New Reebok Freestyle Hi's Jewel Pack

Great new Reebok Freestyle Hi's have just hit the web! Available in four colors - Red, Green, White, and Blue - these joints are sooo crute. They feature metallic straps on the side panel as well as on the velcro straps. But most noticable is the jewel decals used on the ankle and and as s a lace lock. The jewels provide just the right amount of sparkle :)

Kicks: Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Hi

Short and Sweet: These resemble the Nike Air Force 1 LE (GS) release in the post below...but these are strictly for the laaayydayyss <---ladies lol! The sneaks sport a black nylon upper accentuated with hot pink laces and midsole. They are expected to release sometime in October, but no specific date has been confirmed as of yet. I'll be on the lookout, and as always, as soon as I know, you'll know!!!

SFS: Nike Air Force 1 LE (GS)

A new limited edition Air Force 1 has arrived on the scene just in time for Halloween! These babies are outfitted with a dope black nubuck upper and berry swoosh and stitching. It also features a cat print decorated on the heel of the shoe. What's most awesome, as with these Halloween Releases, is that the icy gum sole of the sneaker glows in the dark! Friggin' cool and in my size!!! The Nike Air Force 1 is a grade school size release run and are available at Nike retailers.

SFS Alert: Nike Halloween Pack GS!!!!

Aww FRIGGIN YEAH son! New exciting, spooky, haha GS Halloween Pack by Nike featuring a Dunk Hi and Dunk Lo. Both sneakers are very cool and creepy (<---geez really), and feature a special glow in the dark pattern that you obviously can only see in the dark lol. The dunk lo comes in a ghostly (enough already!) black/cactus/and white colorway with a ghost pattern found throughout the shoe. The Dunk Hi follows suit in a black/white/orange colorway, but it features a frightening (sorry, last halloween reference) bat pattern. When the lights go out, the kiddies and ladies will definitely put some fear (ha! I lied) into all those around.

The pack is available now and retails at $65 for the low and $75 for the high.

Chicago DunkXChange 2008

During what has been the most drury (rain all day and all night) weekend thus far, the dunkxchange headed to Chicago and brought out a ton of sneaker buyers, traders and sellers! The event was MC'ed by PHLI Chicago's own Dave Jeff. Freebies and exclusive custom kicks boosted the afternoon. All in all, it was good to see fellow sneaker aficionados come together and celebrate their passion and love for the culture. Enjoy the pics below!

Sneak of the Week: Yeah, Yeah, I Know It's Friday but, I'm Sayin...
