Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V/2 'Think Pink' - Swim Cash PE

Finding itself filed under the "wish these had released as a GS exclusive" category comes this PE from Seattle Storm front courter Swim Cash.  As part of the 'Think Pink' line of Nike Air Max Lebrons, which benefits the Kay Yow Women's Basketball Coaches Association Cancer fund, we've seen a number of dope player exclusives over the years, with this V/2 stacking up to be one of the best ever. The soft pink, silver, and white surpasses the typical "pink and shrink" denouncement received when seeing a sneaker of this nature.  It is appreciated not only because the color placement is perfectly executed, but because we know the cause behind the shoe is far greater than just kicks.  Check for these babies to hit the WNBA court soon!

You Should Know: Nike Air Max Lebron VIII P.S. GS - White/Black - Sport Red

The 3rd installment of the Nike Air Max Lebron 8 series is the P.S. or Post Season Lebron 8.  The P.S. Air Max Lebron 8 was created to usher Lebron into the playoffs with the Miami Heat by providing a breathable, lightweight sneaker with full support and comfort.  The aesthetics on the P.S. differ significantly from that of the first two versions, but the same attention to specs has been put into this new model.  Mesh can be seen on the upper of the P.S., in addition to a 180 air max unit (versus a 360 unit seen on both the V1 and V2 units) providing protection and stability.

The official launch comes in the above pictured White/Black and Sport Red and is available in Grade School sizes.  You can find this model at local Nike retailers worldwide, including the following online shops:

Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V2 GS - Pink/Black - White - Now Available

After a recent post on the above pictured GS Lebrons - we now have release info! This special colorway is in stores now just in time for Valentine's Day.  I snapped the above pictured at Chicago's Niketown (excuse my terrible nail, getting a mani tomorrow!).  Retail on these is $110.  These should also be available at your local Nike Air Max Lebron retailers.

Peek-A-Boo: Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V/2 GS - Pink/Black - White

Just the other day, I was all the way turnt up about the upcoming grey and pink Nike Zoom Kobe VI GS release.  On twitter*, I stated "If a LB8 V/2 drops with some pink or purple, I'm going to LOSE it." Well what do ya know? Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V2 GS - White/Black - Sport Red

Fresh of the heels of an extreme victory in the name of kids kicks with the GS South Beaches, Nike plans on wrecking *^&% further in the grade school basketball world with the release of the Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V2. From the naked eye, The V2 doesn't appear to differ significantly from the original V1.  However, a closer examination of the second version of the 8 model reveals lighter materials used on the upper, along with the use of flywire accents and a full air max unit on the outsole seen on the V1.  After recently trying this pair on for size, I am convinced it is one of thee most comfortable and lightweight basketball shoes out there.  This colorway is set to release this Saturday, January 8th at select Nike Basketball retailers, including Niketown Chicago.  Another pic after the jump!

Beedee's Top 5 Pick-Ups of 2010

2010 was bawse, in every sense of the word. Not only were there amazing things happening in my life and for the blog, but there were some sweet pick up opportunities along the way.  Unlike the 2009 list, which only included Jordan Brand pick-ups, I've included non-JB kicks in this line-up. So enough of my jibber-jabber, take a detailed look at my top 5 pick-ups of 2010 after the jump!

Could It Be (GS)? Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V2 - Christmas Edition

Why yes, yes it could. 

We have seen some great Xmas-inspired colorways from King James in the past few years, this year will be no different. Coming off what seems to be have been a highly demanded re-do of the SoBe Lebron 8 to be made in Kids sizes, Nike has gotten the memo that it would be advantageous to release special colorways in GS from jump.  The Men's Nike Air Max Lebron 8 V2 "Christmas" photos hit the web not to long ago, and immediately caused a frenzy amongst supporters of the extra festive color combo. Now, I'm assuming lots of gals and smaller footed guys are wondering when exactly these are scheduled for release.  As of now, what we know for sure is that the Men's release date is set for December 26th, so the GS sizes will probably release same day or shortly after.  Next in your box of questions is where will these release?  That too, is still somewhat of a mystery.  However, be sure to stick with SneakHerbox.com for continued updates on the GS release, price, and location availability. Nike Air Max Lebron 8 GS "South Beach" - Detailed Shots + Men/GS Comparison

Yes, the moment you all I have been waiting for! After last week's release DEBACLE (you might've seen my twitter rant), I was seriously starting to think the whole GS South Beach Lebron 8s thing was a fluke.  But oh hoo hoo, Niketown Chicago came through for your girl in a clutch! Now, to my understanding, our store may have been one of the first to actually receive their GS shipment - upon hearing of the drop, I quickly tweeted the deets out and sneaker chicks went to work on the phone lines! Unfortunately, our store has sold out but yesterday's release leads me to hope that other Niketown stores throughout the nation have/will be receiving their shipments this week.  In addition to NT, Footaction and Footlocker stores are expected to get GS product in the next couple of days, so it is pertinent to keep track by calling your local stores.  You might also be wondering if these will be available online. As of Monday, Nikestore's twitter page tweeted about an online release becoming available "mid-week." That, to me, sounds like they could be available tomorrow, Wednesday the 8th.  This information, however, hasn't been confirmed via Nikestore's twitter page.  As stated before, it'd be a good idea to start following their page (if you're not already) to stay updated.  Of course, when new information becomes known, I'll be sure to tweet it so you should DEFINITELY be following our twitter at twitter.com/SneakHerbox.  Anyhoo, hit the link below for more shots of the GS release as well as some comparison shots & info!

Nike Air Max Lebron 8 "South Beach" to Drop in GS Sizes

As I stood in the cold, waiting in line to pick up my brother's "South Beach" Brons - I thought to myself - hmm, it should would be dope if this wickedly fly colorway dropped in my size.  God definitely hears all prayers - sneaker ones included - just in on Footlocker Unlocked - The South Beach Lebron 8 colorway will be available in GS sizes (3.5-7y) on December 1st.
