Air Jordan Alpha 1 - Black/Varsity Red - White

2010 is set to be a huge year for Jordan brand and they are starting things of with a revamp of its most iconic model - the Air Jordan 1. The new model titled the Alpha 1, features nearly the same silhouette of the original but is visibly different around the mid and outsole. Other changes include a padded and perforated ankle lining along with a circular JB design logo and "Since '85" tagline on the heel. Personally, i'm not thrilled about this new sneaker, the new additions take away from the classic aesthetic look I've grown accustomed to with the OG 1. Valentine's Day 2010: Nike Blazer Mid - Black/Soft Pink - White - Astro Pink

Here's another sweetly designed sneaker for Valentine's Day 2010. The vamp is covered in black patent leather - which dresses up an ordinarily casual sneaker. To tie in the Valentine's Day theme, soft pink is used on the Swoosh and Liner while a darker pink is used for the Nike Logo on the Tongue. The heel tab is decorated with hearts and "Love" - extremely cute!

Wow, these are crazy! The above pictured AM90 features a leather and mesh upper of black while the rubber midsole is colored in grey with specks of black throughout. The Max Air pocket is shown in Volt Green this time, along with the heel and tongue tabs. There is nothing on this shoe that screams "Kid Shoe" and I like that. Beedee's Top 5 Pick-Ups of 2009 (Jordan Edition)

This year equaled a big year of JB cops for me - particularly stuff I wasn't sure I would get and

stuff I seriously hunted down. I've composed a small list of the pairs I hold most near and dear in 2009. Keep in mind that not all of these originally released in 2009, but were "picked up" aka bought by me this year. So here we go:

YSK: Air Jordan XI (11) Retro "Space Jam" Release TODAY - 12/23

After a couple date changes, the Air Jordan XI Retro Space Jam edition will finally hit store shelves nationwide tomorrow, December 23rd. By now of course, I'm sure you've been reading a ton of the same information regarding the release today, so i'm just gonna do a few bullet points on what you need to know in order to score yourself a pair or two:

1. This will be a GR, or General Release, which means they are being produced in large quantities and will be at major chain footwear stores such as Footlocker, Niketown and Finishline, as well as stores like DTLR. And of course in Chicago, St. Alfreds in Wicker Park and most of the shops on Madison St. (Westside Chicago)

2. The Air Jordan XI Space Jam is being released "Full Family" meaning sizes include crib, toddler, little kids, and big kids (GS). As well as in Mens Sizes.

3. Retail for GS sizes is $109.99.

4. Because this is a GR, the Air Jordan XI Space Jam will also be available for online purchase at Finishline.com and Footlocker.com - and is already available for purchase online at Sneakerhead.com and Pickyourshoes.com

5. Although the above picture shows fancy new packaging to be included with the Space Jam release, it is not a guarantee that the GS size XI's will come in shown packaging.

So, with all that being said, you should be good! The best thing to do is be proactive and not "sleep" on the release. If you have the day off or don't go to work/school til later in the day, go and cop your pair EARLY to avoid any potential sicheacions (situations).

New Music Tuesday: Clipse - Til The Casket Drops

YO! My favorite rap duo drops their third (kinda fourth) album - Til The Casket Drops -TODAY, and I am very proud of these dudes. Although initially, I was iffy on them stepping outside of in-house production on this album, but DJ Khalil happens to have some of the best beats on the joint (check out "There Was a Murder" & "Footsteps"). Of course, the Neptunes bring their usual epicness on tracks like "Popular Demand (Popeyes)", "I'm Good", "Counseling (MY FAVORITE TRACK)" and "Champion" but some songs lack the bang that I expect from the production team (like "Show Off" -_-). Anyhoo a solid effort nonetheless, so make sure you go out and support the Pusha T and Malice and COP THAT ALBUM!!!

A very grown up cdub has hit the Air Max 90 for kids and little footed ladies. The "Neon" colorway has become iconic in the minds of many sneaker enthusiasts- most noted for its outfitting on the Air Max 95 model. Well, this go round the 90 gets the neon treatment and I have to say, this is one of the illest releases - GS or Mens - i've seen all year. Hit or Miss? Married To The Mob Holiday 2009

For this year's Holiday collection, Leah and the crew chose to take a slightly toned down approach to the line compared to its more edgy, uber "sexy", pseudo-gangster-boo-esque collections of the past. I suppose seeing video girls draped in MTTM could motivate a change, but I digress. As far as hit or miss, the collection falls somewhere in the middle. "Aspen Snow Bunny" inspired cardigans, leggings, tees, and jackets - along with winter accessories - fill the line and for the mosdt part, shows a more mature side of the brand. Kicks: Air Jordan Spring 2010 Girls Line-Up

I cannot friggin WAIT til 2010 - I'll be a cool 24 years young and I've already started making major travel plans so that SneakHerBox.com can be known nationwide - but of course, I have to have some killer kicks to go along with me on these treks. Jordan Brand is definitely keeping me and my other fly femmes in mind for next Spring by dropping two undeniably fresh retroes. Coming in first is the Air Jordan Spiz'ike model - outfitted in a chill grey, teal and pink colorway. The colors work so well together that you totally ignore the fact that they are a GS release - and that is always a plus for women who have smaller feet but don't want to look like they're wearing kid shoes. Next up is the Air Jordan VI (6) which, in my most honest opinion, needs no introduction. Now typically, i'm not a fan of the white overlay look (think Carmine 6s) but the PINK OMG THE PINK IS SO BRILLIANT ON THESE! I have to make an exception and cop them when they drop. As of right now, no official release date is available for either but no worries, as soon as it becomes available - I'll post it!

Kicks: Air Jordan 12 Retro - White/Varsity Red Holiday 2009

Oh yes, I'm back bishes, and with that ish you love to see, AIR JORDAN RETROES!!! MMM MMM GOOD like campbell's chicken noodle soup on a cold chi-town day, one of the most sought after Air Jordan OG colorways to ever grace our presence shall return, this December, for the entire family. The White/Red Air Jordan 12 will retro for Holiday 2009 and looks nearly exact to its predecessor - and that, well, that's just perfect! Expected to be a general release, they should be available for purchase in all sizes, including GS, on December 19th at JB retailers and Footlockers nationwide. SBeezies: Nike SB Releases November 2009

Its that time misses and misters! After a severe drought in hot-fire-ness, the Skateboard camp over at the Swoosh has really set November up to be an epic month for SB releases. The standard models are included in the package - dunk highs, dunk low, dunk mid, a blazer, bruin, janoski, etc. - but come in some terrific colorways. One of the more anticipated drops this month will be the RESN or "Gucci" inspired Dunk High - which will release as a Quickstrike (pictured above). As with any other month, it'd be best to check with your local SB shops for specific release date info on the QS joints - the others are available now online at SPOT.

It's official - the Nike Air Force 1 is about to rain dance on you crows this year and I'm WIT IT! This latest sneak peak has certainly got me hype - as I am a SUCKER for shiny things - so the above pictured Metallic Silver AF1 is clearly on my pick-ups radar. Super sleek - it features metallic silver leather, white mid and outsole, as well as a hyper blue accents and ankle strap - DIG THAT! No official word on a U.S. release date, but they are currently available for pre-order online at Kix-Files - so do what you do!

Kicks: Asics WMS Gel-Lyte III - More Fall 2009 Releases

Here we have more Gel Lyte Bidness for the "Runner" in you. Along with the Grey/Mint cdub I posted a short while ago, two additional new looks for the Gel Lyte III have graced the e-pages of SneakHerBox.com and I.AM.LOVING.IT. The black/white/pink colorway is a definite hit, sure to please even the most "anti-pink" female sneaker lover. What SERIOUSLY changes the game tho is the grey and lavendar colorway - OMG SAY WORD these are dope!!! There is just something about pastel colors paired with grey that warms my heart. As the time for Holly Jollys and Candy Canes steadily approaches, it was only a matter of time before we started to see Holiday themed sneakers. Adidas may be first on the list to do so with their "Season's Greetings" Pack set to release this year. The pack will feature the Superstar 2 and Stan Smith Two - the former decked out in red suede and the latter sporting green suede - both adorned with gold Holiday graphics. Ahh, i'm feeling warm on the inside just typing about em! Each will also come with a small keychain of "Qee" and he's even in the spirit! Check out more shots below of these festive kicks!

Peek-A-Boo: Nike WMS Spring 2010 Preview - Air Structure Triax 91 ND - Swan/Sport Red

Typically, I'm not a fan of white uppers over dark bases (a la "AJ6 Carmine" - I know you hate me don't you?), but this design pattern just so happens to work for this upcoming Women's Structure Triax release. Set to hit stores next Spring, the Swan and Sport Red colorway will surely please the ladies and make the gents hunt down any sizes 11 and above. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ;-) lol.
