Whoooa...patent leather may be one of the most debated materials used on sneakers. Some people love it, and some people, well, just can't stand it. I personally like the effect it gives a sneaker, when used properly. This time around Nike used a sparkling patent material on a brand new set of Air Max 90s for women. Set to release in two lakers inspired colorways, the yellow and purple AM feature a predominately patent leather upper, with the traditional mesh on the toe box, tongue, and upper back panel. Set to release in Spring 2009, these will definitely catch a lot of looks from the fellas! A very nice touch to an already celebrated Nike model. More pics after the jump
