It seems as if 2009 is the year of the comeback. We recently posted some news about the retroing of an exclusive Air Jordan 12 CW, and now we jump ship to bring you news from another nostylgic brand. LA Gear gained peak popularity in the 90s for its dynamic look but soon fizzled out and just about vanished into thin sneaker air. This year the brand is back for the ladies with a new very limited Stardust model collection to be sold exclusively at Sportie LA. The collection will feature five new colorways and be held to 89 pairs in total - signifying the year of release for the model (1989). Get ready to welcome LA Gear back to the game on May 12th, the date of the official drop in store and online at Sportie LA.
