Married to the Mob x Reebok "Double Bubble" November 2010

Most of you know that as of late, I've had a love/hate relationship with the MTTM brand, partly due to there being a lack of, IMO, creative expansion on the apparel end.  However, I've always been more than pleased with their collaborations - specifically sneaker collabs - which are always fresh, funky, sexy and badass, just like the Ms Leah McSweeney herself.  This morning's casual browse of my fave sneaker sites led me upon the DOPE FUGGIN HOTNESS you see above. Once again, Reebok has twerked it out with MOB to create a stunning colorway for the Reebok Freestyle Double Bubble.  Very similar to the Reebok Freestyle Hi we saw back in 08, the Double Bubble features a higher ankle and additional strap.  The vibrant cobalt blue suede upper, gum outsole, and rose gold embellished signature MTTM lips logo and tongue accents SCREAM luxury.  I love them. I want them. I wilst have them. Dropping November 1 and retailing at $100 (beauty on a budget!), this limited release will be available at Karmaloop, UNDFTD, PickYourShoes, and Michael K. Nike Air Max 90 CL (GS) - Black/Anthracite - Volt

Wow, these are crazy! The above pictured AM90 features a leather and mesh upper of black while the rubber midsole is colored in grey with specks of black throughout. The Max Air pocket is shown in Volt Green this time, along with the heel and tongue tabs. There is nothing on this shoe that screams "Kid Shoe" and I like that. YSK: Air Jordan XI (11) Retro "Space Jam" Release TODAY - 12/23

After a couple date changes, the Air Jordan XI Retro Space Jam edition will finally hit store shelves nationwide tomorrow, December 23rd. By now of course, I'm sure you've been reading a ton of the same information regarding the release today, so i'm just gonna do a few bullet points on what you need to know in order to score yourself a pair or two:

1. This will be a GR, or General Release, which means they are being produced in large quantities and will be at major chain footwear stores such as Footlocker, Niketown and Finishline, as well as stores like DTLR. And of course in Chicago, St. Alfreds in Wicker Park and most of the shops on Madison St. (Westside Chicago)

2. The Air Jordan XI Space Jam is being released "Full Family" meaning sizes include crib, toddler, little kids, and big kids (GS). As well as in Mens Sizes.

3. Retail for GS sizes is $109.99.

4. Because this is a GR, the Air Jordan XI Space Jam will also be available for online purchase at Finishline.com and Footlocker.com - and is already available for purchase online at Sneakerhead.com and Pickyourshoes.com

5. Although the above picture shows fancy new packaging to be included with the Space Jam release, it is not a guarantee that the GS size XI's will come in shown packaging.

So, with all that being said, you should be good! The best thing to do is be proactive and not "sleep" on the release. If you have the day off or don't go to work/school til later in the day, go and cop your pair EARLY to avoid any potential sicheacions (situations).

Kicks: Adidas Originals "Season's Greetings" Pack

As the time for Holly Jollys and Candy Canes steadily approaches, it was only a matter of time before we started to see Holiday themed sneakers. Adidas may be first on the list to do so with their "Season's Greetings" Pack set to release this year. The pack will feature the Superstar 2 and Stan Smith Two - the former decked out in red suede and the latter sporting green suede - both adorned with gold Holiday graphics. Ahh, i'm feeling warm on the inside just typing about em! Each will also come with a small keychain of "Qee" and he's even in the spirit! Check out more shots below of these festive kicks!

Kicks: Nike GS Air Force 1 Mid - Medium Grey/Neutral Grey - White

After a plethora of Dunk and Blazer releases this year, me gets the feeling that the Air Force 1 is going to come back with a VENGEANCE this Holiday season. I have such an appreciation for the model that got me in the sneaker game and i'm THRILLED to see some hot hot HAUT AF1s coming for the tiny footed misses - including the one pictured above. Medium grey covers the entire mid force upper while a dark grey swoosh and outsole make these ideal for Fall. The slew of extra fresh Air Jordan 1s keep popping up for the ladies -and of course- I'M LOVING IT!!! You might recognize the above pictured pair from a post we did back in July about the Jordan Holiday 2009 Girls Collection. Now available earlier than initially expected, the Black/China Rose (Pink)/White AJ1s are outfitted in pebbled black leather, pink patent leather and a very eye-catching electric green printed sockliner. Holiday 2009: Air Jordan 12 Retro - White/Varsity Red

Could this be the year of the "J"? With an onslaught of fusions and hybrid Jordan models smacking us all in the face over the past couple years, it's nice to see the resurgence of numbered retros coming to the surface. With the upcoming drops of crowd favorites such as the Space Jam 11s, Flu Game (albeit altered) 12s, and "Rising Sun" 12s - the JB overall popularity rating has to be going up. The highly highly favored Air Jordan 12 White/Red colorway may just be the next drop to put the Airness right at the top where it belongs. This original colorway will be retroed for the first time this Holiday season and shall be available in a full size run. Perhaps you can't wait and would like to cop your pair now, wellz you are in luck if you wear a size 9 in mens as these are already available online at Marqueesole.com. As for the rest of us, we'll just have to wait patiently =)

Holiday 2009: New Detailed Packaging Images of Air Jordan XI (11) Space Jam

For many Jordan heads, November cannot come soon enough. The number one reason being that the extremely anticipated Space Jam Air Jordan 11 model will be in stores on November 27th and for all the small footers - these will be available in GS sizes. With the release approaching, we are starting to see more detailed images as well as new packaging photos courtesy of online sneaker shop, VMV Inc. Everything looks great from the icy sole, fresh pull out draw box, right on down to the swankly blue kick inserts - but will the GS sneakers receive all the glorified frills that the Mens sizes get? Only time will tell I suppose! Below are a few more pics and a price breakdown by size. For my ladies will a "fuller" foot - will you be pre-ordering anywhere? Let us know!
